Sometimes I wonder what kind of boss I’d be if I ever ran my own team.
Would I be that person who dreams big but forgets the details, or the one who keeps everyone calm and cared for?
It’s funny how thinking about leadership makes you reflect on yourself.
Some days I feel ready to take charge, and other days I just hope I wouldn’t mess it up completely.
When Vision Leads The Way
I’ve noticed I’m drawn to ideas, big-picture thinking, and imagining what could be possible.
I love the energy of brainstorming with people who get excited about a vision, and I always feel motivated when I can inspire others.
But here’s the thing—sometimes my head spins so much with ideas that I forget the tiny details that actually make things work.
It’s easy to get carried away and leave someone behind or miss deadlines because I’m too busy dreaming.
I’ve realized that having vision is amazing, but balance is everything.
Pairing imagination with some grounded steps is the secret to not just inspiring others but actually seeing progress.
Leading With Heart and Action
Then there’s the part of me that wants to care deeply for my team.
I daydream about being the boss who knows everyone’s strengths, encourages them when they doubt themselves, and genuinely celebrates their wins.
But being that person is tricky. Sometimes kindness makes it hard to enforce rules or push people toward tough goals.
And honestly, I’ve caught myself hesitating to make hard decisions because I don’t want anyone to feel hurt.
Learning to combine care with action is a skill I’m still figuring out.
The best leaders I admire are the ones who can support and challenge at the same time—they make people feel seen and push them to grow.
